Dr Alice Mills
TSRC Associate Fellow
Alice recently left the Third Sector Research Centre to work at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Whilst at TSRC, she worked on a two year project (with Dr Rosie Meek) examining the role of Third Sector Organisations (TSOs) in criminal justice.
Experience
Alice is a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Auckland. Previously she was a Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Southampton. Her research interests include imprisonment, mental health, substance misuse and medication adherence in prisons, female offenders, resettlement and desistance from crime, and the role and importance of prisoners’ family relationships.
