Dr Milena Buchs

Lecturer in Sociology and Social Policy, University of Southampton

Milena Buchs is working with Professor Graham Smith on a three year project for TSRC: The third sector and the environment.

Milena's research interests include: climate change and social inequality (ESRC funded), third sector organisations and the environment as well as comparative welfare state change and governance.

Milena teaches courses on Social Problems and Social Policy, Key Issues and Concepts in Social Policy, Class Structure and Social Inequality and Qualitative Methods. She is also co-ordinating the School of Social Sciences' "Green Team". 

Experience:
Milena Buchs joined the University of Southampton in 2005. She completed her PhD in 2005 at the Humboldt University Berlin.
