Mark Richardson
Mark Richardson is an award winning social entrepreneur and 2011 Clore Social Fellow. He is working with TSRC on their social enterprise research stream.
After graduating from Oxford University Mark founded Aspire, a social enterprise employing homeless people. He went on to develop a network of Aspire social enterprises around the UK. At the time this was pioneering work.
13 years on, Mark is carrying out research to look at how this area has developed, specifically focussing on social enterprise models to support homeless adults with multiple needs. The research is intended to map out the number and variety of such organisations in the UK, and to look at the relationship between social impact and financial sustainability.
Mark is currently supported as a specialist fellow on the Clore Social Leadership Programme by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
