Collaborative working

Alongside its core research programmes, we work with other organisations to conduct joint projects, commissioned research or evaluations.

Working with TSRC enables partners to draw on the vast and varied experience of our researchers at Birmingham, Southampton and Middlesex Universities.

Our research partners have included national charities, government departments and agencies, trusts and foundations, and other research centres and universities.

If you are interested in commissioning TSRC to undertake a piece of research or evaluation, or in developing a collaborative research project, please contact us on 0121 414 3086 or info@tsrc.ac.uk

Joint research

TSRC undertakes commissioned projects to provide organisations with the specific research they need to inform their work. We also work in partnership with other organisations and researchers on projects of mutual interest.

Organisations we have worked with include Big Lottery Fund, Crisis, Voluntary Arts, Citizens Advice, Tenants Services Authority, The Plunkett Foundation, and more

Sharing Knowledge

TSRC works with other organisations to share knowledge and disseminate research findings, so that research can be used to influence policy and inform practice. We hold events in partnership with sector organisations, produce think pieces or reports based on our research, and present our findings at external events and policy forums.

We have worked with a wide range of organisations, including HACT, Building and Social Housing Foundation, Department for Community and Local Government, Office for Civil Society, Barrow Cadbury Trust, NCVO, ACEVO and many more
