In this era of ‘Broken Britain’ and the ‘Big Society’, community anchors are under more pressure than ever to demonstrate the benefits they bring by being multi-purpose. This workshop discussed how best to identify and measure this 'advantage’.

The Centre was formally launched at a well-attended event in Maple House, Birmingham. Over 130 people attended the launch, including representatives from national and regional third sector and public sector agencies, academics and practitioners.
